Group 1: Standard Guardrails (Built-in Logic)
24/7 Post Coverage Guarantee
Operational Requirement:
City Tower must never have an unstaffed security post — a single uncovered hour can breach the client SLA and void the contract.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Shift Demands. Every post is a required slot within a shift group. Gaps are flagged in real-time before the shift starts — not discovered the next morning.
No Double-Posting (One Assignment Per Guard)
Operational Requirement:
A guard cannot cover two posts simultaneously — City Tower Day and Industrial Zone Day cannot both be assigned to the same person.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Native Conflict Prevention. The scheduler hard-blocks any guard from being assigned to overlapping or same-time-window shifts.
Weekly Overtime Control — 60h Cap

Exceeding 60 hours per week triggers mandatory overtime pay and liability. Security companies must track this automatically.

Designated Backup Guard
Operational Requirement:
If a guard cancels their shift last-minute, a pre-assigned backup guard is automatically promoted to primary — the post is covered instantly with no dispatcher intervention.

Backup Auto-Promotion. The manager assigns a backup guard to any shift directly from the schedule grid. On cancellation, Daywatch promotes the backup and sends WhatsApp/email confirmation to both the backup guard and the manager.
Group 2: Custom Operational Rules (Code Constraints)
Minimum 10-Hour Rest Between Shifts
Operational Requirement:
A guard finishing a night post (08:00) must not start a day post (07:00) the same morning — fatigue impairs reaction time and situational awareness.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Custom Rest Rule. A JavaScript rule checks the transition window between consecutive shift assignments, blocking any placement with less than 10 hours recovery.
Max 5 Consecutive Night Shifts
Operational Requirement:
Night shifts cause circadian disruption. Guards must rotate to day shifts after 5 consecutive nights to prevent dangerous operational fatigue.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Streak Limit Rule. The scheduler counts consecutive night-shift assignments and blocks the 6th consecutive night. Guards must have at least one non-night shift before resuming nights.
Guard Incompatibility — Cohen & Greenberg
Operational Requirement:
After a documented incident, Officers Cohen and Greenberg must never be assigned to the same post or shift window.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Separation Rule. A custom JavaScript rule scans every shift window for co-assignments of the two officers, flagging any overlap as a hard constraint violation.
Group 3: Role Tags & Worker Preferences
Armed Supervisor — City Tower Gate (Night)
Operational Requirement:
City Tower Gate requires an Armed Supervisor (חמוש + מפקח) on every night shift. An unarmed or unsupervised post violates the client security contract.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Mandatory Role Slot. The City Tower Night shift group includes an Armed Supervisor slot. Only guards tagged חמוש + מפקח appear in the assignment dropdown.
CCTV Operator Certification — Control Room
Operational Requirement:
The control room requires a certified מפעיל CCTV on every shift. Operating surveillance systems without certification is a compliance violation.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Role-Tag Filtering. The Control Room shift slot requires the מפעיל CCTV tag. Only CCTV-certified guards are eligible — all others are excluded from the dropdown.
First-Aid Certified Guard on Every Shift
Operational Requirement:
At least one First-Aid certified guard must be present on every shift across all sites — mandatory for insurance and HSE compliance.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Tag Slot Requirement. One slot in every shift group is locked to the First Aid certification tag, ensuring the requirement is always met before the shift is marked complete.
Day Shifts Only — Dana Friedman (Medical Restriction)
Operational Requirement:
Dana has a documented medical restriction preventing night work. She must be excluded from all night-shift eligibility.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Worker Availability + Preference. Dana marks all night shift windows as Unavailable. Combined with a soft preference function, she is never surfaced as a candidate for night posts.
Preferred Site — Ido Shalom (Minimize Commute)
Operational Requirement:
Ido lives near Industrial Zone and strongly prefers to be assigned there. Assigning him to City Tower costs him 90 minutes extra commute time.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Site Preference Function. Ido's preference rates City Tower assignments lower. The AI prioritizes Industrial Zone for him while still covering City Tower when no better candidate is available.
Weekend Mobile Patrol Dispatch
Operational Requirement:
Weekend mobile patrol routes require drivers who can operate response vehicles. Only guards with the operational tag "נוהג" (driver-certified) are eligible for these mobile units.
How Daywatch Enforces It:
Dispatch Tag Auditing. Custom rules check that any guard assigned to a mobile patrol shift group possesses the "נוהג" operational tag.
Multi-Site Shift Assignment — Site Picker & Calendar Filter
